Breaking my denture was, for me, a traumatic experience, having worn it 24/7 since my upper teeth were extracted 2-3 years earlier. However, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as I finally met Rob who had made this denture from impressions taken by my dentist whilst I still had teeth.
Firstly, it broke my psychological dependence on this denture, I now remove it at night and my mouth feels fresh and clean. But more importantly, it introduced me to Rob who repaired my original denture to act as a spare, and made a new denture which has simply changed my life. With just a fortnight to go before Christmas, Rob squeezed in 5 appointments, and from the first fitting, this denture felt like an integral part of my mouth. For the first time in 6 years, I was able to eat Christmas Dinner with my son with no fear of my 'teeth' causing embarrassment. Considering the amount of work involved, I don't consider this denture was expensive. A good experience.
