I have been donating and buying from this cancer charity shop for years. But my eyes were really opened this afternoon when I bought a bag costing £6 from the charity shop and while the lady at cash desk was taken my money. The superviser was taken all the paper bags from it which I did not mind a bit but when I got home and discovered she had taken the pound token clipped to the front of it on a pendant I was utterly disgusted. Only it was 7pm or I would have marched right back with it. I also bought a clock alarm at the same time £15 With no instructions. I am definitely finished with that shop when she's around. If that would been a customer the police would have been called. I had paid for the article as it was and she had no right taken anything that was part of it. If she asked I would have gladly have given her it. but it was the sneaky way it was done. I've also vol in the actual hospice.and had a run in with cancer myself. So I am very disappointed in her methods.
