Very bad experience

Very disappointed with this garage. Had my car taken in for an issue with the heater system, a relatively simple issue, and after paying over £200 the issue was still not fixed and there was a further loss in coolant level which developed after their work. It then took a number of weeks to get A chance to speak to the owner who himself was the biggest issue. Completely resistant to solving the issue claiming that I was already undercharged and in effect did not pay for the time spent diagnosing, bearing in mind it was clearly a misdiagnosis. He was then blaming me for suggesting the advice of a previous garage rather than taking it upon themselves to come to their own conclusion on the issue. Then saying he wouldn’t look at the car again without charging for it despite the last payment being a waste of money.
Rude, unhelpful garage and whatever food service people have experienced in the past reviews don’t seem to be true anymore. Bad mechanic knowledge for a very simple issue

I would suggest this person tells the true facts. He came to the garage saying that the fault had been diagnosed by other garages and was the heater matrix. The fault was checked externally and he was given a price for the job which he agreed - he was also told there may be an underlying fault which may not be apparent. When removed the heater matrix was badly blocked - he was shown the part which was obviously faulty. The heater was only marginally better and a lot of time and some parts were used to try to rectify the fault which he was not charged for. I suggested that we could investigate further and would be fair with him but he wanted any extra work to be carried out free of charge. He was refunded labour charges but suggested himself that he was happy to pay for the parts. Not sure why he claims to have paid for this job
