Select Solid Surfaces

Run by what looks like a group of clueless and unprofessional staff. They carried out work at my elderly parents and feel the took full advantage of my parents kindness. When I took things further I spoke with a man who had zero understanding, empathy or willingness to help. He just kept taking messages and said he had passed them on. Please don't use Select Surfaces. Not worth the money at all and we had to get another firm in to finish the job they were incapable of completeing. 0 star

Had this company fit quartz worktops. Joint was fitted with a chip on it. When I questioned the fitter he advised I should cover it with my kettle! Loose splash backs and all worktops could be lifted up. The Quartz was from two different batches so was different shades. Had Phil the company owner come out to put things right and still wasnt happy. Ended up having it all removed but took several phone calls to get money put back into my account. Phil instructed another company to come and remove it and they did. We need all walls plastering, granite sink has been ruined with red permanent marker that wont come off and base units chipped. Phil said they would cause minimum damage which they have but he also said he would pay for any work needed to put things right which I'm still chasing him for months after. Very cheap on price but poor quality work. You get what you pay for.

They did two jobs for me. One was nothing like the specified work and the second was not what I asked for either. They don't listen, they can't read scale drawings, they can't/don't explain what they are going to do or what the customer can expect for the price... The work was not ready when promised so I had to return another day.

Hard to get anyone to answer the phone. They don't phone back to reply to messages on either the landline or the proprietor's mobile.
