Look out, they have hidden costs!

We have just moved our hotel waste collection to Devon Contract Waste. All seemed good, the drivers are accommodating and very pleasant, but then I received an excess weight bill. I was quite taken aback as the bins were never even full. I have been trading here for 20 years with 5-6 different waste collection companies over the time and have never been charged for excess weight. As a seasonal hotel, we will produce more waste during the busier seasons and very little waste during the winter months. Every company I have dealt with before has appreciated this and realised that it is “swings and roundabouts”. When our bins are under weight, as they will be at times, will Devon Contract Waste give us a rebate? I feel quite sure that they won’t.

Excellent service - always!

DCW manage our mixed waste and are excellent. I visited their Exeter site to get a handle on how our waste is zero to landfill and their operational focus was top dollar. Their support is excellent and when ever they are on site for paper recycling they are no bother. I would recommend them any time.

Zero to Landfill (As it says on the tin) why consider anyone else ?

Devon Contract Waste has provided Trinity Fire & Security Systems (Exeter) with a Zero to Landfill service for a few years now. It plays a key part in our Environmental Aspects and Impacts, and compliance to our ISO14001 certification. The service is first class that runs smoothly without any issues from the point of waste collection and follow monthly reporting on disposal of our waste. When I have had a need to call - they always respond - always return phone calls ! I only wish they could provide the service nationally to all Trinity regional offices. - Review provided by Environmental Manager Trinity 22/02/19

Princesshay Exeter has been working in partnership with Devon Contract Waste for over 4 years now. This has been a successful partnership mainly due to thei zero to landfill policy which marries up to our own environmental requirements and credentials.
