Phoned up to seek advice about my very painful knee.
Very nice,helpfull receptionist lady booked me an appointment the following day directly with a knee specialist.
The next day I was having an xray at Kendal with no appointment required.
Back to Ashtrees within a very short time for a knee injection.
The service I got was sympathetic,profesional and quick.
Very happy

Unfortunately I have been a patient in Surgeries from Gloucestershire to Cumbria - However Ash Trees are by far the best - From Speedy Prescriptions to Highly knowledgeable/Helpful Receptionists to same day Telephone Consultations and Home Visits they are unsurpassed - You are not just a voice - you are an Individual who is always treated with the very best medical aid the NHS provides.

i was a patient with Stoneleigh Surgery in Milnthorpe for many years and found the treatment i received was excellent. Since Ash Tree took over the running of the Milnthorpe surgery the treatment and handling of requests has reached rock bottom. I am unable to get past the 'Gestapo' type receptionist who refuses to give me an appointment unless i disclose my full medical history and agree to be veted fore being contact by phone by the doctor. i am then not allowed to choose the surgery which is closest to my home and the most convenient. Establishing a relationship with the doctor is in my opinion vital to good treatment but again this is not possible as you are told to like it or lump it when it comes to the doctor you see. I am a type one diabetic of over 56 years and i am old enough to know when i need to see a doctor. Very, very unimpressed!!!

Arrived for booster covid injection Saturday 20th and fully recommend in future that this centre is more patient centred and organises mass immunisation in a way that offers PRIVACY, respect for individual needs, respects others DIGNITY and allows time for discussion of concerns.
I was SHOCKED to be shepherded into an open room where many others were receiving injections, and appalled that a male being vaccinated feet away turned to listen to my private conversation with nurse.
Many would need to strip off shirts or jumpers and yet no screens offered to allow privacy or maintain dignity.
Less a mass immunisation succcess more a disgraceful third world herding humans like cattle to serve expediency.

Avoid at all cost, During the 7 years of being a patient i have had problems get appointments finding the reception staff rude and abrasive. Also had cause for real concern when informed a member of the staff had been talking to a neighbour about me. My biggest problem is when i informed the surgery i had moved to a different area and was in the process of changing surgery, while waiting for the process I submitted a prescription request only to be informed 8 days later they had removed me as a patient(without informing me) leaving me without my medication and a doctor. I have since rang to speak with the practice manager was informed they were not available and they would send her an EMAIL ! to contact me. I am still waiting but not holding my breath, totally & shockingly NOT FIT FOR PURPUORSE. AGAIN AVOID AT ALL COST IF YOU VALUE SERVICE. Wish i could give 0 star ratting.
