Charming place go & try it

We eat out at a lot of places and I have to say this one is a real beauty- infact I added it to this site just to let other people know about it
We visited here last summer ( 2007) while touring around Norfolk, it's just off the main drag in the charming little Wells town, igf you drive along the main drag you will miss it so look this one up if you're along the Norfolk north coast
Thankfully the day we were there it was a warm late summer's afternoon. There is a nice patio area at the rear of this place, and a real sun-trap. The stafff were evry attentive and friendly, no one rushing you to eat up and get out.
I had the seabass for a main course. It was just right and tasted so freah i wouldn't be surprised if it hadn't been caught 30 minutes earlier!
Price was reasonable ( both of us had 2 courses and alcholic drinks, came in at under £40) and we spent a good couple of hours eating at our leisure
Doesn't look like we'll get back up to Wells this summer but next year if we're up that way I will definately be making a beeline for here. Really nice place, go and see for yourself :)

Nice food and good price

Despite going out to eat more than we stay in, for some reason I hadn't been to a Pizza Express before. However I was meeting my good lady at the tube after work and we decided as it was quiet ( a Tuesday night) we'd give it a go. unfortunately I thought it would be along similar lines to Pizza Hut but I was very pleasantly surprised
The decor is very nice & clean, and we were shown to our table and had drinks brought over almost immediately. There was a good spread of different types of people there, familes and couples. No overly intrusive music either, sometimes we've been to places where you're shouting at each other!
We skipped the obvious choice of pizza dn just went for a pasta dish. There's a nice starter choice to share too by the way. Both courses were very nice- no complaints at all
We skipped dessert and just had coffees, but all in all a 3-course ( if you count coffee as a course) for 2 with drinks at under £35...not bad when you compare it some places down the road
