Excellent choice for book groups. Staff very friendly and helpful. The area does tend to be infiltrated by homeless youths, but that is not their fault, it's just situated in reading and it's full of dubious individuals who look like, given the opportunity would steal my 📚 books

Generally a good supermarket for the middle of town. Fairly expensive but that's to be expected for town and also the quality is consistently decent.

Good place to go for lunch at work. The prices have gone up a bit but it's not bad.

Basic but nice. Nando's is ideal if you want a quick and cheerful meal. Not as cheap as you might expect but not expensive either. Halloumi is good !!

Really flavoursome baguettes, made freshly everyday, good service. Expensive though.

Not sure what happened to this place, people used to rave about it and I heard a lot of hype, then it just calmed down a lot. When I went it was really average. No redeeming features but not awful. I would go back for sure.
