I could not disagree more. If you want to be double billed for work which has mistakes in it, then go ahead. I had to constantly chase them again and again on my conveyance. What should have taken a short amount of time took ages and ages, and they billed more than 4 times more than my previous solicitors. It would cheaper to get a Freshfields/City partner to do the work for you. The solicitor knew less law than me; was unaware of a number of things they were required to do until I informed them and took an incredible amount of time to do simple tasks- billing all the way. I wish I had sent my bill for detailed assessment, as my costs lawyer informed me he would expect it to be reduced by at least 40%.

Also just realised that you are a rent-a-review on here. It really shows something that William Lill & Co need to pay for decent reviews.
