Warleys

What a helpful team at Warleys! I was given so much help and advice when I was able to visit, even to carrying goods to my car for me but I have recently had to stop driving. I phoned them today to see if I could place an order for delivery and received the goods this afternoon. That's what I call outstanding.

Placed order for animal feed on Tuesday for delivery. Was advised delivery available on Wednesday or Thursday. Was asked whether the order was urgent - responded that it was and requested delivery on Wednesday.

No show on Wednesday. No show on Thursday. Called and complained. Was advised that delivery would be made between 9am-11am on Friday morning. No show until after this time (received call at approx 11.15am).

Left work in Hull before midday Friday to deal with issue (as this had now become an animal welfare concern) and attended Driffield branch to make a further complaint and request recompense - request for recompense declined outright. Alison commented that Mike had not wanted to deliver to the site in the first place as the van had been stuck twice before. Why were we not told this when the order was placed on Tuesday?

On previous occasion when van had been stuck - driver used scrap wood to get the van out and then left a total mess on site which we had to clean up.
