I had to use Trees2Timber on behalf of a client (I am a garden designer) - Richard had come highly recommended by several people. He had to saw up three large tree trunks into timber of various sizes for use as interior and garden furniture and he did an extremely professional job. He was at all times helpful, polite, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Both my client and I were very happy with his work.

Richard Maynard did a superb job of milling two oak trunks and a plane tree into workable pieces of timber for future furniture making. He was unfailingly polite, helpful and professional.

I would recommend Trees2Timber after the excellent job completed on converting two large, felled oak trees, to 8" wide oak boards, beams and a fireplace mantle. Richard explained the process upfront, provided clear instructions for what would be required on the day, was knowledgeable, arrived on time and provided sound advice on handling, storage and treatment of the timber produced. Richard was also well prepared when running into some unexpected nails in the trees, replacing the sawmill blades and managing to complete the job successfully. Richard expertly used the Woodmiser to turn our felled trees into very useful timber. I cannot praise the service enough, prompt arrival, very accurate cutting and worked the machine with very few breaks. I have worked with wood most of my life and also woodland management and have not come across a service that touches this in value for money terms, I would estimate a timber return of 250% against cost working with our softwood to fairly small sizes, this would be a far greater return with larger cuts or hardwoods. We will be using this service again but will supply more labour as with three of us we found it hard work keeping up with Richard and the speed of the machine.
