I know how to use a laptop but not how to fix hardware or software or system issues. I'm not blonde (!;)) but I needed my Toshiba laptop fixing asap. Not only was Gosh, kind, friendly and extremely knowledgable and extremely efficient, he dropped me all the way home too. Can't fault his service or honesty. I took my laptop with a broken screen to Gosh. He had a look and replaced it within 15 minutes for £70 less than half the price i was quoted by another laptop repair place on west street. Very satisfied customer!

I had taken my Laptop to some repair shop for overheating and shutting down constantly and I got it back with three additional problems!Not knowing what to do, i cried for help on 'Sheffield Forum' and that was where I discovered Byte IT LTD. Gosh checked the laptop for free.

He fixed the headphone and mic jack, which had been damaged at the previous repair shop I had taken the laptop to. Likewise, the fan was cleaned and the thermal paste was replaced, since the computer was still overheating excessively. Now my laptop is remarkably faster, not getting too hot for the first time in ages, i got a new free anti-virus and Whats more, i paid a minimal fee because I am a student :). The part that impressed me the most was that I was given a Netbook to take home with me while mine was being repaired. That was really thoughtful and I only wish I had found this place before going to a 'trial and error' repair shop the first time.

Our company desktop PC had many problems, programs couldn't run, was really slow, HDD was making weird noises.. Our own IT department couldn't fix the issues properly so we had to call in Gosh, from BYTE IT LTD for help. With his advice, we have replaced our HDD to Solid State Drive (SSD) and got rid of our Vista Operating System, replaced it with Windows 7 Professional, which Gosh have installed and explained to us the differences. With his help, our Desktop is now at least 20 times faster than before and SILENT!!! Don't know what else to say to express my appreciation to what he's done for us! Many many thanks Gosh!
