Recently this company contacted the local badger group requesting advice on the current activity of a sett, which was close to a tree that had to be felled. As the local field officer for the group I attended the site. The operatives had recognised that there might be a problem should this sett be active. I could confirm that this one was not active at this time, although a little distance away there was a small, but active sett. We discussed how they would fell; they recognised the problems and what measures they needed to undertake to ensure that neither of the setts were damaged, keeping all debris away from any entrances. They carried out the work exactly as they described. Their attitude to their work was a refreshing change, professional, but together with a consideration towards wildlife. Not all companies do this. Highly recommended.

They were totally professional from the initial contact through to the completion of the project and the three people we dealt with were all extremely helpful and great to work with. I was watching the two operatives from this company prune a tree in Midhurst Drive, Goring by Sea today. I believe they were on contract work for West Sussex County Council.
I watched with great interest the skills required to scale the tree and prune back the branches. This was done remarkably quickly and efficiently to include clearing the pruned branches for shredding. Sweeping up the sawdust from the shredding machine was accomplished also. Highly recommended from what I witnessed and very pleasant men too.

From start to finish the whole process was very professional and carried out in a timely manner. We had to obtain permissions from two 'distant' neighbours, Samantha 'held our hand' all the way and proactively helped us obtain the relevant forms. This included obtaining permission for a TPOs. Once the job was booked in the date did not change.

The site team were great explaining what they were going to do, protecting anything that needed protection, expertly and safely carried out the work and then and cleared up completely afterwards.

I would definitely use Broadleaf again.

Absolutely excellent service. On the appointed day, the team arrived on time and the guys were extremely proficient and knowledgeable. I've used Broadleaf before and have no hesitation in recommending them. The visit to assess the work was done by Matt and he gave very good advice, even recommending not doing some things that I thought were required and giving me the rationale behind his thinking. This really engenders trust in my view. Clean up following the visit was faultless - everything chipped and taken away and the areas left tidy.
