If you haven't been here before it's all about the home-made pies (made with lots of pastry) and a pint of a ale!
The trick is to find a menu because you'll struggle to remember every pie the waitress reels off - there's a whole host of pies on offer here, meat and veg!.
Always busy, and welcoming, pies are also available to take away.
lacking real atmosphere, the food and drink really made the occasion. This place is a traditional pub, with that
country feel, but with a modern dining area. If you visit/drive around here in the summer I'd recommend you stop off for a quick bite or drink and make use of the benches out the front.
