When getting the job done isn't quite enough

I think that when I write reviews, I try to be balanced and fair in my comments. It is with this in mind that I review Gary's Plumbing Services.

Let's start with the pro's.
1. Gary arrived when he said he would.
2. He had all the parts on his van as he stated when we spoke.
3. He fixed the fault on the toilet and by installing better quality components, the toilet flushes better, fills faster and is quieter.
4. He's quick. Very quick.

There are however, a few negative points.
1. He is very expensive (let's be clear here, I knew the price up front and there were no hidden charges) but shop around and you can probably halve the cost.
2. All the compoenents removed from the toilet were dumped in the bath and left for me to clean up. I believe that a good workman cleans up after himself, especially given the price charged.
3. He demanded payment in cash!
4. He left without giving me a copy of the receipt.
5. The toilet cistern has not been re-mounted parallel to the wall.

What more can i say..The customer was given a price for fixing his toilet cistern, The price was given before job start, The customer admits he was given a price for job,And on that instructed me to continue with repair work,The customer admits the work was carried out quickly and proficiently I am fast /quick Because i know what i am doing,Have everything on the van, Being quick should be a bonus to the customer so as not to impact on there day, I dispute the cistern not being parallel to the wall,The cistern needs to be parallel to the toilet pan as it sits and is pulled tight to the coupling kit on the pan, So maybe the casting on the pan is not level or the floor is not level.I see this often,Cistern can only be pulled tight to the pan.The customer signed the receipt which states clearly he was happy with all charges attributed to job,Standard of work,And happy with overall job..So i say.. You can not please all of your customers all of the time,Thanks for your review Gary.
