It has taken almost 11 weeks for our TV unit to be delivered. We initially purchased on a 4-6 week delivery time.

As part of the service, your item is assembled for you, so there's no effort required. This is not the case.

The delivery drivers are not provided with instructions on how to assemble. They also don't assemble, apparently we need to source wood glue to secure all in place. DH said that they would instruct us how to assemble the unit. I declined- we were offered a service of assembly. It is a good job we didn't secure everything with wood glue, the media centre was slotted the wrong way round.

The delivery company sends someone over to assemble the unit. When unpacking the shelves I notice paint damage. I email DH to advise and they say that all shelves have a top and reverse, nothing can be done about the paint damage. It isn't until I threaten to contact trading standards that they accept the fault and confirm they will send replacements.
