Good service but sneaky upselling.

Good service but quite sneaky the way extra expense is added. Flowers for instance are automatically upgraded (£5 extra), the "free" card is automatically upped (+50p) and then postage is added, too. This would have been a 5* review if it wasn't for all the unexpected sneaky upsells. Buyer beware :-)

Consistently good service. Been using brokenbog.com for years now. Nothing is too much trouble.

So poor he has to leave fake reviews for himself

Awful experience. Overcharged for work that made my vehicle worse. He refused to give me a receipt and didn't even give it a test drive. The repair shop that mended it were very surprised that the basic safety checks were not done.
Very disappointing.

Once again this is a slanderous review you had a invoice for the work done on your Land Rover Freelander that I did do 2 wheel bearings I took the hub to a garage to get them pressed in and out and I only charged £229 for 2 wheel bearings it was not me that diagnosed the wheel bearings on your car I was only do what I had been asked to and your husband was the one who said to me he was going to take it for a test drive. Your husband as soon as I was done took it for a test drive and then meet me on another job I was doing and told me that his diagnosis of the problem was wrong so what am I supposed to do if I was told you want 2 wheel bearings done then I do two wheel bearings on your car I will get a screen shot of the invoice and post it as proof that it was supplied

Slander is when someone posts something that is untrue. For instance, it is slanderous to make up a poor review of someone's partner's business just because you didn't happen to like what a past customer has said. That is slander and that is what you have done. You were pleased with the work he did on your old van (otherwise why suddenly post a 1-star rating on Facebook on the same day you receive a poor review?), you are simply trying to get back at me. My review was accurate and you made no attempt to redress the complaints I made, just reverting to childish tantrums. This is extremely poor business practice. You should have addressed my comments in a mature manner. Anyone reading your silly tirade above would avoid you like the plague and rightly so. Even if it had an element of truth to it, why on earth would a 'professional' rely on a diagnosis from a layperson and not once, before or after, take the car for a test drive?

You have converted a very unhappy customer into a very angry customer and you have done this in the public forum. Well done.

Disgusting business

PORTSMOUTH DEBENHAMS SOAK HOMELESS MAN...ON CHRISTMAS DAY!

It seems that it isn't the season of goodwill to all men, at least where the security guards and management of Debenhams Portsmouth are concerned.

A local homeless man, who went to sleep in an alcove of Debenhams in Commercial Road on Christmas Day had a rude awakening on Boxing Day...when he discovered a security guard at the department store had soaked him, and all his clothes, bedding and belongings over night!!!

One local resident told Spotted Portsmouth, "Can we name and shame Debenhams - the official page in Commercial Road please!

"This has just been posted in the Portsmouth Politics Facebook group by a homeless guy who was found sleeping in one of their doorways. This is a disgusting way to treat someone who is already down on their luck!"

The poor guy relates his story below:
