It started off so well; Andrew was attentive and reassuring and we felt we were able to leave the whole redecoration of our house in his hands. After a few days a couple of problems arose with water-damaged furniture - initially, Andrew assured us that he could put it right but after he'd put woodstain on our sold teak furniture and sanded down what was supposed to be a distressed-finish unit we called in an expert restorer. Our relationship with Andrew started to go downhill culminating in him refusing to come and review our very long snagging list (there was more there than we could just leave with the in situ decorator), pulling the decorator off the job before it was finished, and then refusing to remove his rubbish and paint. He did come round but only to swear at us and then his emails became increasingly paranoid and vitriolic. This is a man who does not like to be challenged and is quite scary if you do query anything. His abuse of us below is untrue and typical.
