Due to great reviews on Google, I took two pairs of jeans to be shortened by Nu Fit U, thinking this was a simple test before some more complex jobs I needed doing. When I took them back, the hems were very uneven and the stitching extremely crooked. On politely pointing this out, he agreed that it wasn’t good and did say he would fix it - which was appreciated but given the state of the work already done, I thought this would only compound the existing errors and asked for my money back instead - this is not policy apparently, at which point he got unpleasant, despite me remaining very clam and apologetic throughout. Eventually he agreed to giving me back just over half the money back.
I am not in the habit of leaving reviews, and certainly not negative ones, but given the poor workmanship on a simple job (and admittedly this may have been rushed as they are busy), I did want to balance the glowing reviews elsewhere with a report on my experience. Clearly inconsistent.
