I was in belfast about two months ago and had the first ever bad experience in the city, (nearly got a right kicking for nowt) and was dubious about returning, thank god I did.I was at Primal Scream on fri night and went into the roost before and after the gig, I was in the roost this time last year after watching florance an the machine and when I went in this time the barman recognised me, this makes you feel so much at home and appreciated, his name is Fergal or Fergus, from Tyrone.My Dad owned a bar my whole life when I was growing up so I could appreciate how this bloke was keeping all moving, a barman/manager like this is invaluable.Everyone in the roost seemed to have this professionalism about them, even the bouncers which is strange.Any bar could take lessons from the roost for their friendliness, helpfulness and dedication.Up again next sat for the specials and I will defo be visiting the roost.Thanks for helping to make the weekend such a good one.Stevie McMahon
