Insurance Intermediaries

15 November 2021 – 2 Minute Read

Most insurance intermediary services do not charge a fee for providing guidance or help with applying for insurance products. Intermediaries and brokers get paid on a commission basis by the insurance providers they are partnered with. However, some intermediaries will charge a small administration fee to cover costs associated with documentation, such as mortgage applications. These fees are often no more than £400, but it is best to check with your local intermediary in advance, to make sure there are no hidden costs.
