Dry Cleaners

There are a few steps you need to consider when bringing clothes to a professional dry cleaner.

Make sure you empty pockets and remove rubbish, loose change and any other items that may damage your clothing during dry cleaning. Chewing gum, sweets, lipstick and other types of makeup are the usual culprits.

Tell your dry cleaner about any concerns you have. For example, mark up any stains or marks with safety pins or masking tape so the cleaner can choose the right kind of solvent to remove the stain effectively.
