Youlie is a highly qualified teacher, dancer, coach, author and IDTA Fellow and Examiner.

She has coached professionals and amateurs for exams and competitions, including four students who won IDTA Annual awards. Her competitive couples in Kazakhstan, Greece and UK have been Champions and Finalists in national and international ballroom dance competitions and championships.

I took private lessons with Youlie and was always impressed by her skill and deep knowledge of technique. She is a lovely person and very easy to work with. I am still learning the basics so it’s clear Youlie has the range as a teacher to work with anyone, from complete beginners to professionals. I can’t recommend her highly enough. And she can teach almost any style of dance. We are very lucky to have such a fantastic teacher in the community so do take advantage!

Great dance classes in a friendly environment. The professional tuition her attention to detail and feed back from Youlie has transformed my dancing and taken it to a higher level.

Accelerate your dance techniques with a great teacher

Excellent Classes. My technique has much improved, which gave me the confidence to enter a couple of IDTA regional competitions with encouraging results, including 1st and 2nd placings.
I can thoroughly recommend Youlie as a dance teacher and choreographer.

Transform your dancing

A great dance school offering group classes and private lessons. I've been coming here with my dance partner for several years. The teacher, Youlie, is an excellent teacher. The groups classes are friendly and relaxed, but you realise there is so much to learn. The private lessons let you focus on what you want to improve on in particular. We work on basics as well as more complicated steps, leading and following, and how to make the dancing look good. We've had lots of compliments about our dancing since we've been coming here. I really feel my dancing has improved with Youlie's expert tuition. Recommended!
