Business overview

At HC-One, it is our mission to be the first choice care home for Residents and colleagues in each of the communities we serve.

Located in the peaceful residential area of Maryhill in Glasgow, Wyndford Locks is a friendly care home, offering residential, nursing and nursing dementia care.

With sitting rooms, space for Residents to pursue their hobbies and interests and lovely dining rooms, Wyndford Locks has a host of places in which to relax, dine, exercise, socialise and be creative. The delightful landscaped garden and patio is the perfect spot to spend time with friends and family, and is happily looked after by some of our Residents. The bright, comfortable bedrooms and living areas are all easily accessible by wheelchair.

The home’s caring team has created a family atmosphere, encouraging everyone to eat and celebrate special occasions together. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings so that it feels just like home. Daily life is thoughtfully designed to support mind, body and soul.

Dear Agnes, Thank you for your review. Please note that all residents who suffer a fall within the home are assessed by a trained nurse and medical attention is requested if there is any injury noted. All falls are fully investigated by the senior team in the home to determine the cause of the incident and to put measures in place to minimise the risk of these reoccurring. Unfortunately due to the current pandemic, visiting is restricted and this can have an impact on both residents and relatives but we do strive to ensure that families are kept fully informed of any issues in relation to their relatives. I hope this information helps. Kind Regards, Wyndford Locks care home
