With more than 30 years of experience in the metalwork industry, Matthew specializes in one off design and build projects. General blacksmithing jobs large or small, working in all metals. Architectural Ironwork, Engineering & Fabrication. We work for a wide range of clients, from private individuals to architects and interior designers. The nature of our work is equally diverse ranging from large & small scale restoration & architectural projects to bespoke gates, railings, handrails, smaller bespoke interior pieces, furniture, antique restoration and all other metal works."
We find particular inspiration in the traditional construction and fixing methods that feature so strongly in the blacksmith craft. Combining contemporary design and modern metalwork practice with more traditional methods allowing us to create work that is firmly rooted in the present.

Our stunning gate.
5When we went to see the first "mock-up" the vague idea had somehow become "Our Gate". He had understood instinctively what we were looking for and had translated that into a beautiful work of art.
Every tiny piece is exactly right. From the slight change of angle on some of the upright bars, the tactile finials, the gentle curve of the upper horizontal, the half moon angles on the joints, the beautiful fish that guards the padlock. And the most perfect workmanship and finish.
Matthew is a fantastic artist, an incredibly skilful blacksmith and one of the most amazing people we have been lucky enough to meet.
Our Gate is stunning and we love it to bits.
