Karyn Bowering is a caring and compassionate Clinical Hypnotherapist working In the Newcastle and Durham areas.

Karyn trained as an Occupational Therapist in 2002 and spent many years working in the NHS delivering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy interventions in Primary Care Mental Health.

Having received great benefit from hypnotherapy herself and after seeing the gaps in traditional methods of treatment Karyn decided to train as a Hypnotherapist and founded Work Your Potential, so that she could share its amazing benefits and help more people. She has successfully helped many people overcome a range of difficulties from habits such as smoking and overeating, to fears, phobias and chronic low self-esteem.

Ultimately Karyn is extremely passionate about helping people to feel good about themselves- regardless of the past; and ensures that she always gives 100 per-cent and tailors her expertise to the needs of each individual client.
