The staff are kind enough but the vets like to push unnecessary treatments. Their prices are extortionate, before you agree compare their prices. For example they charge at least three times more for medication than it costs on the human market. They make smaller margins through the insurance companies, which also motivates them then to push as many treatments as possible. Be careful with them if you have your pets wellbeing at heart.

Such lovely people - so helpful and you can book and pay online too which is very handy indeed. I won't take my pets anywhere else now that I have discovered the team at Wood Street.

The best vets!

When my cat fell and hurt his paw I was seen by the excellent team at Wood Street. The vet I saw was brilliant and their easy online booking and payment service was very user friendly and convenient. I signed my cat up for their affordable pet health plan that now covers all his regular vaccinations plus his flea and worming treatments. Flawless experience. Highly recommend

I have been going to this vets since 1960! I have 8 cats and 3 dogs. One night visit for a cat cost me £500. One estimate for teeth was £1.600 which of course would have been much more. I got it done for £120. My cockerel was attacked by a fox, they usually die but I thought some anti biotic drops might help. One has to do something, NO the vets wouldn't give them to me without a visit, which the cockerel would have never survived! I in my distress swore and now they have banned me! Blessing in disguise I think!
