Wood's Dry Cleaners is a family run business which opened in 2006 offering a friendly and unrivaled quality dry cleaning, clothing repairs and laundry service at competitive prices.

We clean and care for everything from business suits, wedding dresses, delicate f-label and designer garments to everyday leisure and workwear. We also offer a service cleaning household fabrics, such as curtains, furniture covers and duvets, and employ a seamstress of the highest calibre to carry out repairs and alterations.

We know how busy lives can be, so we aim to remove the pressures of daily household chores of clothing repairs and laundry cleaning and allow you more "Me" time. Our laundry service is popular with people short on time who need a "Butler service" to wash and press their shirts, duvet covers and bed linen.

I was delighted with every aspect of the service from the team at Wood's - great communication, value for money and quality of the dry cleaning. They picked up the items and delivered exactly on time, and their team were very helpful and efficient with all of the arrangements. Highly recommended.

Excellent service over several years

Have used Woods most weeks for several years to iron my pre-washed laundry. I have always been totally satisfied with the result, which is neatly packed and frequently taken to my car for me. The staff are hard working and always pleasant and helpful - and I am always grateful for their good work.

Excellent service - but

I have used this dry cleaners for some time and have always found the service very good and the staff pleasant and helpful.
However, I find the parking a big problem. Woods have two parking spaces alongside the shop but whenever I go there one or both of the spaces have been taken by inconsiderate people who are not in Woods but shopping elsewhere in the town. It must put some people off using Woods especially if they have large amounts of cleaning to take and pick up.
