All reviews here tell of the wonders of this place - the fact that it exists at all, given what is going on in retail, is a miracle. Today I went to discuss a blocked drain but then wondered if, tucked away in one of those hidden corners, there might be a battery for my watch. Sure enough there was and it was fitted for me. The range of goods on sale is extraordinary and the care and attention shown to customers are of another age. Thank you!

Brilliant hardware shop with a fabulous range of goods for house, garden and beyond (hard to believe so much can fit in!). Stacey’s always a pleasure to deal with. One of the very few ‘real’ local stores left in Canterbury.

Without doubt one of the best places to get your hardware needs - not just in Canterbury, but probably Kent. Stacey goes out of her way to assist or source items that are hard to find elsewhere. They have helped me to find items for oil lamps, paraffin lamps camping gas stoves and other assorted items. If you can't get it here, or Stacey can't source it, it probably doesn't exist!
