Never showed up
1We booked a car for a 4am airport pick up.
I called before going to bed to confirm they had assigned a driver and that it was all ok. I was told that we could pay by card as they would send a payment link.
I then got a call at 1:30am to say the driver wanted to be paid in cash. So woke me up to ask this question which had previously been confirmed we could pay on card. Also, as we didn’t have cash on us, they said the taxi driver would arrive at 3:50am (instead of 4am) so we could get the cash from a cash point.
It was 4:05 and no sign of the driver, not wanting to miss our flight, I called up and was told it was 5 minutes away. Got to 4:15, still no sign of the cab. Called again and was told he was round the corner.
Called again (approx 04:20am) and he said would call the driver for an eta……then hung up.
Ended up getting an Uber for a fraction of the price.
