William H Painter Funeral Directors

I would recommend William H Painters to anyone arranging a funeral. Our funeral arranger was Joan. She was brilliant. She was caring, understanding, sympathetic and replied to all of my emails and telephone calls in a good timely manner.
She made, what was a very difficult time for us a family, very easy and very smooth.
Joan recommended the officiate, Rick, who read out my moms eulogy in a warm, friendly and compassionate way.
I'd also like to mention the printers, who printed the beautiful order of service's.
I cannot thank you all enough. You did my mom proud.

My mother recently passed away unexpectedly, this was a real shock. As a family we have always used WH Painter so there was never a question on who we would use to take care of mom.

I called WH Painter and left a message, Katie H called me back and as soon as I had spoken to her it was obvious I had made the correct decision to use them once again.

Katie H explained the whole process including all the current restrictions with COVID, what rules and regulations each crematorium had and walked me through the process step by step.

I would like to thank everyone involved with making the worse day of my life the best possible day it could be, I know mom would have loved the day if she could have seen it (maybe she was watching).

Once again I've used Painters, this time for an elderly Aunt, They're efficient - caring - polite and helpful in fact they couldn't be any better especially at a difficult time for the family made worse by Corona virus.

I do not know what we would have done without William H Painter. My husband died at home after an illness. We had no help from our GP and very little from visiting nurses. The people who came out to us were lovely, kind, supportive and very very considerate. They helped to tell us what to do next and guided us through the process gently and kindly every step of the way. They found us the perfect humanist celebrant, Stephanie Cockerill. Because I didn't want to leave our flowers out in the gales and rain, Mark even brought it back for me. We could not have managed without Katie, Mark and the team. I cannot speak too highly of William H Painter, they helped to ease a very bad time for me.

Katie and the team did a great job arranging my grandad’s funeral. Katie was very caring and went above and beyond to make sure that my grandad had a good send off. Thank you Katie and the team.
