Fantastic livery yard.

Fantastic livery yard I have been here for nearly 2yrs now. I’ve had horses most of my life but I came out of having them for about 10yrs I bought poppy but my confidence was 0% Emily & Alyson have worked really hard with me putting a lot of there time into helping me and my horse and also excising her for me when am working. Excellent facilities fantastic care for your horse they are there 24hrs On hand whether it be for a farrier or a vet can’t fault this yard at all and thank them all enough.

Thank you. It really is lovely to be appreciated. For so many livery yard owner and managers it’s very often felt that despite their best efforts, they’re not appreciated, and that’s why it’s so uplifting to read your review!

Avoid the headache

Allyson stop, you know the reasons we left. Your contract given after arrival contradicts the info brochure given on the visit. The contract also states it must be signed PRIOR to arriving. If we were given the contract on the visit you wouldn’t have got £150 deposit.
Day two told we cant feed from large holes haynets, can’t hose his legs and despite brochure stating flexible bring in time, told if we don’t bring in by 4.30 then you will and charge triple the usual fee £4.50 weekdays and £9 weekend days. Also forgot to mention you bring the horses in with a quad bike. I asked if hay bars are allowed as he has never ate from small nets and was told if he is hungry he will eat. After five days we left without telling you as you’re renowned for not letting liveries leave. The day after arriving having posted photos on fb we received numerous messages saying to be very careful and it has all been proven true.
In hindsight it should have rang alarm bells why you always have empty stables

The world is full of individuals like you. I’m sure folks reading these words will be able to draw their own conclusions. Also if you could collect your haynets, I’d be grateful.

Save yourself the hassle…. Avoid!

Avoid at all costs. You’re given a “horses choice” brochure upon viewing the yard and all seems lovely however all is not what it seems. You arrive at the yard with your horse and are given a contract to sign that totally contradicts the information you’ve been told verbally and in the brochure prior to paying your £150 deposit. Been left with no choice but to remove our horse after 5 days and Allyson had the nerve to try and charge us on additional £99.14 for breech of the contract we were only made aware of after arrival. The prices she charges also differ significantly to the prices set out in the brochure.

Louise Snowball. Thanks for taking time to leave a review. Bosco arrived on Thursday 26th January and was removed by Chloe on 30th January having been on the premises only 5 days. You paid a £150 deposit, to be held as described in our contract. You were asked to bring Bosco in from the field on 26th AFTER Gideon as you said he may stress if another horse wasn't in the stable. YOU decided to bring Bosco in, ignoring arrangements that had been made to prevent stress. You’ve left owing money. Everything that was asked of you was for the wellbeing of your horse.

5 Star Care - For your Horse

5
Fantastic livery yard that always puts the welfare and safety of the horses first!

My young horse has been here for 2 years since he was a young colt with little handling. The owner and everyone at the yard are very helpful and knowledgeable and ensured safety at all times for my horse and also assisted me in training and development of my youngster who is now a completely different horse. He is relaxed, confident and happy with lots of friends living as naturally as possible! Would highly recommend this yard for you and your horse!

Another couple of plus sides is that there are very few flies in summer, plenty of grazing and fields are at a level that reduce mud in winter!

Bought my 9 month old pony straight from Ireland. The owners put her in a herd that accepted her, gave her confidence and put her in a routine that all horses love. She is now a confident good yearling. I cannot wish for a better place for my pony. If anyone says anything different then they do not have the experience that the owners have. Stand back, watch, and sort out who goes where so there are no bullying injuries. Love it.
