We are a large friendly independent pet shop,which has been established in Sydenham for about 50 years. The owners Liz and Di have been in the pet trade for 25 years.

All staff are knowledgable and able to help with most problems you may encounter with your pet.

We pride ourselves on our exemplary personal service to our customers.

We provide a free delivery service and microchipping also.

The animals in our care are our top priority, and we look after them to the highest standards and then advise you how best to continue their care should you choose to buy them.

We stock the best in premium pet foods and offer qualified advice on all aspects of nutrition for your pet.

We now stock Orijen for dogs and cats and also Harrisons bird foods for large and small parrots and birds.

Rolie is a Catalina Macaw.He is 14. He has been here since he was 12 weeks old.Both his parents Rosie & Charlie,were Whites Pet Centre birds,(hence his name a mixture of both.)

First class care for pets!

We enjoy going to Whites Pet Centre. They give good advice and really know about animals. They are a one-stop shop for new pet owners like us, and stock a good range of quality feeding and accessories, at competitive prices. We can order items over the phone and have them ready for collection which is great.

‘Customer is King’ - Whites have not heard about that one

Absolute disgraceful customer service! Have given them several chances but I simply have enough now and will not return. Could go into more detail , but you could also read previous review .summs it up.

The best pet shop around !

The staff are always helpful & give good advise. Great selection of healthy fish, staff talked me through a new tank set-up successfully, after I lost all my fish due to bad advise from a large chain pet shop :( Love the offers they always have on cat & dog stuff to. They are good all round & I will continue to shop here for ALL my pet supplies .Highly recommended.

To me, this place is the best thing that has ever happened to the pet care industry. Every member of staff is very helpful and polite, even making you feel as if you're their friend!
You can tell they're passionate about caring for their animals, and their customers.
I would recommend this place to anyone for all animals, even poultry!
You must go and visit, even if it's to say hello to the shop dog and parrots.

A VERY HELPFUL TEAM

I have been using Whites for over 25 years and have always found the staff very helpful and friendly. I have purchased several different animals from Whites and whatever questions I have asked they have either given me the information or have contacted someone with specialist knowledge and then called me back.
The staff have always been polite and knowledgeable without exception.
There have been occasions when a certain food has been out of stock but the staff have always got the stock in asap for me and delivered it at my convenience. A great service!!
If you get the chance pop in and see them. They have always looked after me and i wouldnt go anywhere else for my pet supplies.

A great local shop!!!
