Having serious damp problems with both chimneys (one shared) and an external wall, I struggled to find an experienced and reputable contractor. White Rock provided an initial expert survey and clear proposals for the work. They could not start as scheduled due to weather conditions but kept me informed. All staff, both office and operational were efficient and helpful and work was completed and inspected before payment was requested. The 10 year guarantee for the damp proof coating is reassuring. I can confidently recommend them.

How refreshing it has been to deal with a Company that actually does what it's said it will do. On the one day that they couldn't come due to the awful weather I was informed well in advance and not just left hanging around. Everyone I have come into contact with at the Company has been professional, friendly and polite. Any concerns I may have had were immediately addressed to my satisfaction. The work was carried out in a professional manner, to a good standard and with minimal disruption. My property was left ( if I am honest) more tidy than it was when they arrived. Thank you White Rock for what for us has been a rare positive experience .

White Rock rock!

White Rock Property Care Ltd. have been a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. They are well-staffed and everyone is courteous, hard-working, efficient, responsive and good-humoured. We had quite major works done to eradicate dampness and damaged plaster, as well as new kitchen and bathroom, insulation and some works at roof level to the eaves and to ventilate the roof space. Along the way three separate outbreaks of dry rot were discovered and dealt with with a minimum of fuss. We love being back in the house which is noticeably drier and warmer and a pleasure to look at. Big thanks to White Rock.

The Team at Whiterock are hard working and easy to get along with. The advice given regarding the works to be done and options were always well thought through, and I felt honest and impartial. All the works done were within the quote and they are fair-minded. An example being when they took the initiative to rework a damp course to my preferred solution within the quote accepted. I had a concrete floor put in and they ensured that Council building control inspected the work as required and were happy with the works completed. They also did a damp course on one wall, replaced a lead water pipe from the mains, replaced the lead flashing on a flat roof and inspected a chimney, ceiling,wall and loft to confirm that the cause of previous penetrating damp had been fixed. All this work was done well to my satisfaction. White rock were more expensive than my other quote but their approach to delivering a good product and their guarantee to fix issues with the works if any arise is worth it.

Transformative work at our property

We have had an excellent experience with White Rock. They are working on our property in Pembrokeshire and travel is not an issue for them. The survey is extremely impressive and their recommendations cover both their services and other effective techniques which shows they want the job done superbly for you - not just to get work. The membrane work they’ve done so far is excellent and other builders that work at the house are so impressed and want to work with them on other ‘jobs’ they do and ask us for details. We are working through our house putting in recommendations and this work will transform the property. Our project manager was so brilliant and easy to work with and just gets on with no issues. He has stayed in touch after their bit to check work in the rooms house since is ok and if he can be of further help ie work done then kitchens bathrooms fitted etc.
The ability to work in stages is also really helpful.
I recommend the team unreservedly.
