Cannot recommend highly enough.

Further to the previous review, I honestly say we did not experience the negative opinion expressed by the previous reviewer.
Tom Came out to look at providing ideas for remodeling the house and extending, We sat down and went through our ideas, Tom suggested alternative and practical advice to meet our needs. He sent his fees within a couple of days and we accepted as which we felt they were very competitive as we had structural work done on our previous property. The drawings & calculations were sent within a fortnight. The work was underway the following month , Tom was always on the end of the phone to deal with any queries form our builder. We are over the moon with the result. We are considering a loft conversion in the future, we will be definitely getting Tom back help us out. Excellent Service.

Tom was contracted to do a Structural Survey. His written and verbal communication was poor. A clear brief was provided with annotated floor plans and pictures and he said he “didn’t understand what we wanted him to do”. His email responses were curt one liners. The turnaround time was reasonable. However, the report seemed rushed, was riddled with spelling and grammatical errors and in places was barely coherent. Report was only 1 page long (plus only 4 photos) cost £360, though this may be “cheap” we felt this was poor value for money as the job probably took him an hour or so in total. Looking at other structural reports, what was provided was of poor standard. He completely ignored the areas we had highlighted as needing special attention. When questioned about our concerns Tom was quite aggressive. All in all poor customer service, poor value for money and poor end product.
