Westover Digger Services is a small family business from Maldon who operate a Driver Operated Mini Digger and Dumper Hire Service. We are Registered with the Enviroment Agency as a Licensed waste carrier and follow a duty of care.

We offer extra hydraulic attachments such as an hydrualic breaker/pecker for breaking up concrete bases etc and an hydraulic flail for cutting hedges and fields etc where the vegetation is over grown. We also have a Grapple Grab to move large lumps of wood, concrete and metal.

We have the full selection of buckets that come with the machine suitable for digging Footings and Oversites, Ponds and Swimming Pools, Driveways and Patio areas, Utility and Drainage Trenching, Site Clearance and levelling off, Ditching, etc.

We also offer a hard landscaping service in supplying and erecting of fencing, turfing, trimming and cutting back of your hedges, construction of sleeper walls for raised areas and flower beds etc.

We offer a Muck Away and Aggregate Delivery Service using our Roll on/off Skip Lorry and Trailer.

Very good indeed. The job: Increasing levels of a low lying park with willows, ash and oak, also restoring an ancient pond to its former glory, runoff ditches included, Phil (and his assistant Mitch on one occasion) has been a tremendously capable landscaper and digger operator. As there is more work required, we hope to get him back to complete the job adding some concrete work for which he also has an impressive portfolio/

Amazing digger and Driver!

I had Phil over on Saturday with his digger and breaker to help us dig out some old footings and then dig our footings for the new extension deeper. He arrived bang on time, his kit and equipment was brilliant. He worked hard all day with minimal breaks staying until the job was done. He was a very personable bloke, easy to have a chat with and very friendly. Cost wise very good price. I couldn't have been happier with the service he provided

Driveway groundwork

I’ve recently used Phil at Westover to do the groundwork for a large driveway. He efficiently broke-out a 100sqm concrete driveway, cleared the rubble then scraped-out nice and level to the required depth. He then dug a soak-away pit and cut trenches for underground drainage. Phil has used his tipping trailer to bring in aggregates for my job which has been very handy.
Great overall service, Phil is friendly and good to work with. Highly recommend.
