1Aggressive customer service. Unpleasant.
1It can be intimidating walking into a builders merchant, but without prices online, it is necessary to interact somehow, via telephone or in person visit.
What a horrible experience. The two men I spoke to were rude, aggressive and unpleasant; stereotypes of the patronising and bullying cultural cliche. Enough to put you off DIY.
Feedback: Clear information, clear prices, and clear measurements online would negate need to call.
If you are going to continue a phone service, it would be good to ask the men on the phone not to shout at the people calling up.
