We do not live locally, so had to arrange for our late aunties 3 bedroomed house to be cleared in Welwyn Garden City. We contacted a couple of local house clearance companies and came down to meet them, and get a quote. We went with Welwyn House Clearance, mainly because the guys who came round seemed knowledgeable and eco -friendly.
They said it would take 2 to 3 days to clear the house, garden and garage. Cost was more than we were expecting but all about the same. They completed the work in 2 days and had even swept through after removing all the carpets. This saved us a lot of cleaning time that we were expecting to have to do.
We were very pleased with there work and would highly recommend them.

I can highly recommend this company. After our mother died we had to have our old family three bedroom home garage and shed cleared. As we live in the north we thought this would be difficult. After getting three quotes we went with the mid range of the three quotes and chose Welwyn House Clearance, partly because they were friendly, sympathetic and produced a licence to say they were a registered clearance company. They said they could complete this in one day and also do it on a Sunday for our convenience as we would have to travel to St-Albans then back North.
We thought this would take the two men at least the full weekend but we left them to it and they did complete it in one day though it was a long day from Sunday 9am till just after 9pm.
For the extra effort and friendly service they provided on a very sad occasion for us we can only say thank you both for a hard job well done.

These guys came in at 8am and cleared my mums house without a break except a couple of cups of tea and didn't leave till about 7-30pm. They worked really hard, were really helpful and pleasant even though it was tipping down nearly all day. I would certanily recommend them.
