Qualified mental health nurse and mindfulness teacher. Mental health and wellbeing courses taught in Aberdeen and Shire.

Agnes has been a mindfulness practitioner for 12 years. She discovered meditation during a challenging period of stress and anxiety in her teens. Since then she has participated in many training courses and retreats in order to deepen her knowledge of meditation and maximise the benefits of her practice.

Motivated by a desire to help relieve the psychological suffering of others, she pursued a career in Mental Health nursing. She graduated with distinction from Robert Gordon's University, Aberdeen, in 2013 and has since gained a considerable amount of therapeutic experience. She has worked with all age groups, with a range of mental health issues and other forms of psychological stress, and in settings as varied as community psychiatric services, in-patient facilities, and one-to-one therapy sessions.

Agnes offers a range of services including KGHypnobirthing, mindfulness courses and one to one wellbeing programmes. Agnes's one to one work includes anxiety/stress management, psychotherapy, self-compassion coaching and spiritual guidance. This programme is designed and delivered to suit the needs of the client, a free consultation is included.

I was sceptical but was so wrong! Life Changing!

I was skeptical about mindfulness and I doubted that I would get much benefit from the class but after struggling almost daily I was willing to try anything. I attended a one day introduction to mindfulness session and it was life changing. Just from the brief introduction I cannot understate how positive an effect the techniques I learnt have had on my day to day life.

These mindfulness techniques have helped me; sleep better, deal with anxiety more effectively and helped me focus on the moment or whatever it is I should be doing rather than drifting to regrets of the past or worries of the future.

Agnes set up a great, relaxed environment and her teaching style was incredible, I could do that day in day out and I fully intend to take up her other more focused sessions and courses as soon as I can. If money allowed it I would take Agnes up on her one to one sessions for sure.

I had a great day and took away from it more than I could have imagined!

There are so many personal achievements I’ve made as a direct result of the course I did with Agnes

I took part in Agnes’ 8 week one to one sessions as I am an anxiety and depression sufferer. I’d been told for a few years about mindfulness and meditation but didn’t think that it would necessarily apply to me. I could not have been more wrong!
There are so many personal achievements that I have made as a direct result of the work that I did with Agnes. She teaches simple techniques and exercises which are applicable for day to day life- I have found these to be extremely useful!
Agnes also has a wonderful manner, full of warmth, empathy and in general she is extremely calming to be around. Within the first couple of minutes I knew that I had made the right choice for my mental health and upon completion, I have thoroughly enjoyed keeping up with Agnes via her Instagram stories where she shares her own experiences.
I cannot recommend Wellbeing with Agnes enough! I am so thankful for the time I got to spend with her and hope to attend another one of her workshops soon!

Worth your hard earned money

Agnes is fantastic, she helps open the road to mindfulness in ways you can relate it to your own life. I’m still using many of the exercises and tips she gave us in our class more than 4 months later. They just stick in your mind the way she relates it all to you. Fully recommend.

Great mindfulness Day

I really enjoyed the mindfulness day with Agnes. She is a skilled facilitator and created a lovely atmosphere in which to learn about and practice mindfulness. Since attending I have continued to use the guided meditation for sleep that she has produced. Refreshments on the day were home cooked and absolutely delicious. I would have no hesitation in recommending this course.

I highly recommend attending the eight week MBLC course with Agnes.

I attended an eight week mindfulness based living course with Agnes. Agnes has the ability and empathy to listen carefully to what everyone shares, highlighting the significant points and relating them to our every day lives, as well as the course curriculum. She has wisdom way beyond her years. I would highly recommend her courses and workshops.
