I have been to a few bridal shops and this is without doubt the most friendly and helpful that I have been to.
All of the staff there were lovely and they couldn't do enough for us.
I even managed to get an amazing dress for an awards ceremony that I was attending, which was an added bonus.
Their range of dresses was very impressive.
I can't see how anyone could possibly give a bad review of this shop .

This lady came into our shop and fell in love with a dress.
While she was here we called the manufacturers to see if we could get the dress in time for her wedding date. Sadly the manufacturer stated that they could not accept the order as they would not be able to guarantee that it would arrive in time.
Our sample dress is only a few months old and a popular style so we did not particularly want to sell it but WOULD NEVER want a disappointed bride, so offered her the sample at a discounted price. We normally reduce a sample dress by approximately £250 when it is a few months old, but as she needed the dress to be adjusted down one size plus the hem, we were aware that the cost of the alterations would be fairly expensive for our bride, so took off £400 so this would help with the cost as we were aware she was on a tight budget. We called the dressmaker to confirm that this alteration was possible but the customer really wanted to hear this directly from her. We arranged for her to come into the shop a few days later to see her personally. We DID NOT ask her to leave a deposit against the dress but assured her the dress would not be sold as it was a popular sample. We only agreed to reduce it for her as her wedding date was outside ordering timescales.
When this customer arrived in the shop a few days later with 2 friends she was instantly greeted and told the dressmaker was with another customer doing a fitting but would be with her at the earliest opportunely. These appointments with the dressmaker had been made weeks in advance and we were fitting her in as a courtesy.
At no point was the customer told that the dress was discontinued as she was present when we called the manufacturer during her initial visit. As she was unable to find a picture of the dress on the internet, she must have assumed it was discontinued and then proceeded to demand that we should reduce this dress by 50% (like other discontinued dresses in our shop). We repeatedly explained that this is a current line however, she would not accept this. We even offered to reduce the dress by another £100 in recognition of the distress she was feeling. Unfortunately she became exceptionally rude to 2 members of my staff in front of the dressmaker and 2 other customers.
We have since contacted the other customers who were present at the time to apologise for any inconvenience or offence caused to them at that time.
It is regrettable that this customer felt that it was totally acceptable to abuse my staff in such a manner. As an independent retailer, my staff and I pride ourselves on the friendly and knowledgeable service that we provide to our brides and their friends and families, which often sets us apart from other large chain stores, with 85% of our customers being recommended by previous brides/bridesmaids.
I found the dress of my dreams on my first visit to this shop.. they wanted me to put my deposit down then and there but I wanted to go away and look at the dress online to see how it looked on the model before I gave them my money because they dont pin you in the dress they just hold it there, so its very hard to get an idea how it would look. The lady wrote the name of the dress down for me and I walked away quite happy. As soon as I got home I looked online and typed the name of the dress in and couldn't find it ANYWHERE! I then called the shop the next ay to ask if I was putting the wrong spelling in or something they said no I wasn't, they said that the designer has so many dresses and a big turnover & the one I liked is probably discontinued!
I went back into the shop a few days later to see the dress again and the staff were appalling!! Me and my friends had to wait nearly half an hour past my appointment time before they even said hello, I brought up my issues with not being able to find the dress online, told them that I called the manager and she told me it was probably discontinued and they called me a LIAR to my face, said it wasn't discontinued because they ordered one last week.. I said well show me it on my phone (they don't have the internet) or tell me the real name of the dress and I'll buy the dress now but they refused. I was in tears in their shop, wedding dress shopping is supposed to be special not bad enough to make me cry! Basically DON'T EVER GO INTO THIS SHOP, THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!!!
They have a good stock of bridesmaid, bride and assessories at reasonable prices.
