Business overview

one-stop horticultural service

Wealden Country Landcraft is a garden management and design company based in the picturesque village of Horsmonden in Kent. The business was set up in 1998 to provide a professional garden maintenance service using horticultural best practice.

Wealden Country Landcraft's own team of dedicated professionals are on hand to provide you with a one-stop horticultural service. We have also spent time forging relationships with other professionals in their field to provide specialist tree care, hard landscaping, fencing, chemical spraying and drainage expertise.

Here at Wealden Country Landcraft we spend the majority of our time working in private domestic gardens and grounds, however through recommendation, we are also involved in commercial landscape maintenance as well as churchyard grass management.

I have used Tim, Adam and the team for the last 20 years on a variety of both hard and soft landscaping projects. Their advice, professionalism and customer focused service have provided me with a garden environment that brings me so much joy.
They have always been there whether the task is big or small and they act as a real partner taking account of my wishes as well as guiding me to the best solutions.
I recommend the team wholeheartedly.

Highly recommended.

Wealden Country designed my garden about 5 years ago and have maintained it all year round since its completion- the planning, permits, hard landscaping and planting took nearly 2 years. The few plants or trees that did not make it initially were replaced straight away. i can highly recommend Tim, Adam and the team. Courteous, efficient, on time, my garden looks great every day of the year, whilst the design answered the brief in full. Highly recommended team.

Testimonials

We have a small new rectangular garden and Tim designed a scheme for us, which incorporates raised beds, trellis and brick footpaths with some pleached trees as a backdrop. The whole effect is lovely and we are delighted with it. We had several consultations with Tim and he took our views and suggestions into account. His colleagues planted both the trees and later in the year the plants and we would not hesitate to recommend all of them.

Tim landscaped our back garden in central Tunbridge Wells. His team excavated and removed a huge area of paving slabs. They then imported more soil and laid a lawn, new sandstone path and patio area. They provided and planted 7 silver birch trees and created a flower bed around the patio. They also erected a pergola and side gate. They did a fantastic job and were highly professional throughout offering advice and an excellent aftercare service. I would throughly recommend them.

It was by chance that I found Wealden Country Landcrsft. Tim Playfoot met me, discussed what I had in mind and came up with a plan that we virtually kept to. The end result is that my town garden looks twice the size. After an initial planning delay we forged ahead. The incessant rain was a nightmare....but....it is now really beginning to come to life. We have chosen mostly shrubs, the challenge being that there is an enormous oak tree in the front garden which creates a large amount of shade. Of course I am impatient to see it grow. I do talk to my plants ( as does HRH Prince Charles ), they do seem to be listening.¶We have worked well together and I have had many compliments on what has been achieved.
