Wanstead Saturday School

I’ve been meaning to write a review but just been too busy. My daughter attended Mrs Chaudhri’s classes every Saturday for around 5 years. She enjoyed going to the classes and likes doing the work set. Although some of the work is repetitive, compared to her school work, the work done at the tutoring classes are of a much higher academic standard.

My daughter is now at Woodford County High grammar but also scored highly at Latymer grammar. She received offers from all independent schools applied; offers from Bancroft and Forest as well as a wait list offer at City School for Girls. I’ll be sending my youngest daughter to her classes too when the time comes. Thank you Mrs Chaudhri.

I can highly recommend Wanstead Saturday School for children sitting 11 plus grammar school and independent school exams. Mrs Chaudhri is one of the best in the business and her dedication and commitment are exceptional. With the help of WSS my daughter has gained a place at Woodford County High School, she comfortably passed Latymer and she was offered a place at a local independent school. WSS really prepares children for the exams, with lots of exam practice, past papers and it also builds their confidence.
This year has been a difficult year with several lockdowns, however it didn’t deter Mrs Chaudhri in preparing the children for 11 Plus. Mrs Chaudhri proved adaptable and online classes ensued during these periods.
Preparing for the 11 plus is a hard slog and Mrs Chaudhri expects parents to work with her in preparing the child. It has been a very positive experience for my daughter, who I would struggle to motivate only for WSS. Thank you Mrs Chaudhri! E. O’Neill

My daughter comfortably passed the 11+ due to the stunning teaching methods of Mrs. Chaudhri. Her teaching experience and prodigious lessons, as well as helpful information about the actual exams helped my daughter to pass and gain a place at Woodford County High School. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Mrs Chaudri and team for all the help they gave to my son Christopher. We just received the news that he has been award a place at the prestigious Queen Elizabeth School this coming September.
What has made his achievements remarkable was that He only had one year tuition support. However, the programme that Mrs Chaudri put in place help Christopher make giant strides in his learning. I would recommend Wanstead Saturday School to any parent regardless of what the school they are attending may feel about your child chances.
PS Christopher also achieved 99% score in the Kent Grammer Schools exam.
