Best Tailors That I Have Used

I tried this company Stitch & Sew W.o.T for the first time, with a complicated alteration to a dress where other tailors failed to do a satisfactory alteration. When stitch and sew had finished, I was very happy with the results. The people here are very friendly. I have since taken several clothes and curtains to them to be altered and have been very satisfied with the results after they have finished. They take pride in their work and always offering advice on what needs to be done with any of the alterations that I have taken to them. I have since taken my daughter in laws wedding dress to be altered and once again they have done a wonderful job. This is an honest review that I have given, as these guys are very professional in the work that they done for me, and also they have attention to detail.

Great service

I’ve used this business three times in the past year and can’t fault them. Once for an alteration to a dress. Another time to replace a zip of a jacket and more recently for a lot of dry cleaning. Really friendly man and great service.

Fantastic tailor

I had a jacket altered for my Fathers funeral. If they made clothes my shape they wouldn't sell. Walton stitch basically rebuilt the nearly new jacket & it looked incredible.
Several people at the wake commented on what a lovely jacket it was, when the week before I looked like a scarecrow in it.
This man has a serious talent & I think we have used Walton stitch for most of their 25 years in Walton.
Very impressed with the service - don't hesitate, just use it.

Terrible alterations

AVOID
Took a dress in to have a zip put in and buttons sewn closed. Took 4 inches off the size of the dress….. brought same dress to show him what the difference was, didn’t accept any responsibility or offer an apology. Didn’t refund cost of alterations or pay to replace the dress!
