Avoid if you value your possessions and furniture!

All was great until after the move was finished. Then we found we had some damage to items in the process. The move was subcontracted out at the last minute and we were only told about this on the day of the move. Not all furniture was wrapped and they were damaged as a result.

Phil was a nice bloke until we raised the issue with him. He came to look at the damage and continued to say I'm just having a look and getting evidence as he was not present during the move. While in the next breath saying things like that's ware and tear, that was not us, all items were wrapped. Not that he was there to see it all wrapped.

A week or so later I got an email to say it was my fault for flat packing large furniture that would not go out in one piece.

The attitude of Phil and the business in trying to resolve this matter has been appalling. They don't care not are they 1st class.

We used Walsh Transport and Storage in March this year. They were very reasonably priced. We hadn’t moved for 22 years so we were a bit overwhelmed. Absolutely no need to worry, thanks to Simon, Jaden and Michael for all their help and made the whole process stress free. They were prompt, friendly, professional and very knowledgeable, nothing too much trouble for them. Nothing was damaged or broken during the removal. Everything went smoothly and all items were placed where they needed to be in our new home. We would definitely recommend them.

First class service and reasonably priced

Moved away from Halifax to East Yorkshire coast in October 2020. Booked Walsh's as they were easy to deal with and they gave us a good quote. On the day the lads were great, they really did the job for us and all in one day. couldn't have gone any smoother, they deserve a good review, would highly recommend.
