Walmley Pre School Playgroup has been providing high quality childcare in the local community for over 40 years.

We provide high quality care and education for children aged 2 to 4 years, working in partnership with parents to help improve outcomes for children. Ofsted rated "good" , with a safe and stimulating environment that promotes equality and diversity. We provide Nursery Education Funding for 3 and 4 year olds and accept childcare vouchers. My daughter attended this playgroup for a year and I have been so happy with it. The staff are amazing and have the children's growth and development as their priority. The staff provide a very safe environment with a mix of structured activities and free play. Regular reports and feedback is given on your child's progress and a learning journal is completed throughout the year. As a result of attending this playgroup, my daughter's confidence has increased and she is equipped with the skills needed to move on to preschool. I would recommend this playgroup without hesitation to anyone thinking of sending their child there.

Lovely, Well Balanced Pre-school Playgroup

My daughter has been attending this wonderful group for about 9 months and will be going back next year. It's well balanced with a good focus on learning through play. It's staff are experienced, intelligent and mostly Mums themselves. My daughter has greatly expanded her social and other skills and made some close friendships.

Great Setting

My youngest 2 children have been to Walmley Pre-school playgroup and I recommend it to all local parents. A great setting based around play and fun but with clear structure and learning opportunities. Both my boys gained a great deal of confidence and friendships from being at playgroup.

I can not recommend this pre-school enough. Over the course of the year my son developed in leaps and bounds. The staff produce fabulous Learning Journals and a well balanced curriculum. They work so hard and have key workers for your child. He is now ready to join his new nursery (for which the pre-school had a transition day).

Great fun!

My little girl attended this playgroup from Sept 2013 to July 2014 and thoroughly enjoyed her time here. She loved the aunties and the wide range of activities planned for each week especially all the arts and crafts and singing. I would definitely recommend this play group.
