Actually this branch does not even deserve a One-Star rating. Since management change a few years ago, there is literally no "customer service" whatsoever. The new manager called Nicole does not seem to have any people skills whatsoever and is completely ill-placed in this role. Her body language and tone of voice display patronizing arrogance. She needs to be sent to several training sessions, before she has the competency to supervise staff and run this branch. Old management, especially the always friendly Chris, is well missed by many regular customers, who have now moved over to other more professional and courteous opticians. Stay away from this place - whether as a customer or a jobseeker.

They will go out of their way to resolve difficult problems with your sight that the average high street chain may not even notice. As a result of a routine sight test for new lenses, my wife was referred to a consultant to deal with a problem that a high-street store hadn't picked up. They then held off making new lenses until issues were resolved and refused to accept payment until she was happy the new lenses worked for her.

Brilliant service.
