Walker Gas Services

This company was engaged by my Insurance provider, Gas engineer spent 45 minutes looking into problem but didnt say what problem is , He told that he has mentioned everything in report to insurance company, Insurance company called me and said that boiler is not installed correctly so it cant be repaired. my boiler which was giving intermittent failure stopped working completely after the gas engineer went away. I called the company which does the boiler service to look into the problem, without any issue he looked into the problem, provided quotation to fix it. it seems i am not the only one who has faced poor service, Based on cmments it seems to be common trend for this company, One of the possible reason for insurance company to engage them is that they write report in their favor.

awful, awful painful and never again! We had a boiler breakdown and went through the insurance who allocated this WHE heating services company. Took 3 days for them to come out so we obviously had no hot water or heating and its pretty cold at the moment. Called reception to ask if I could get a more specific time about when the engineer was coming (after hanging around the house for 6 hours waiting) and dealt with the rudest receptionist who said the engineer wasn't moving at present -wow! useful. Guy came made lots of noise was on his phone a lot. Said he couldn't fix is and practically ran out the house leaving us with no hot water or heating or any hint of a solution other than get a new boiler. Not sure how competent the engineer was so getting a second opinion. Would never choose these people. I don't trust them and they were so rude.

Used these people via home insurance for boiler issue. Guy called 30 mins before to say he was coming but never said his name, he arrived and still didn’t say his name. Carried out work to fix the temperature drop in the boiler, cleaned out some vessels and I asked if boiler needed repaired, “no” was answer but yet our boiler doesn’t work no more. Now with no central heating!

Completely useless. The engineer turned up and had no idea what was wrong. Thats OK but he lied in his report saying the boiler was old (i showed him the boiler installation cert -3 years old) and then stating that the boiler had no been serviced (I had also showed him the service certificate from 10 months ago)

Absolutely useless. I dont know why Bank of Scotland chose them as emergency solution.
Anyway. I had a small leak in my bathroom. The first one appeared, took a picture, tightened a valve, said should be ok. Of course it wasnt.
The next one, young heavy guy came few days later. He said that it leak was from upper part of bathroom radiator and he fixed it. Nothing changed.
I dont want them anymore, I resigned from BoS insurance as it was/is waste of money.

Now the best part. Because they are really bad they informed Google their bussiness is closed to avoid having more negative reviews.
