Welcome to Wales Ape & Monkey Sanctuary!
The sanctuary rescues and provides a home for many types of unwanted animals. especially primates, such as chimpanzees, baboons, spider monkeys, capuchins and marmosets.
We provide specialist care for all of our Apes and Monkeys and we love to welcome visitors to see the work we do and learn about the animals. We are not a zoo as our primary focus is on Apes & Monkeys and whilst we love the public to visit our priority is the care of the animals.
Wales Ape & Monkey Sanctuary is a fantastic day out for the whole family, open all year round! You can bring a picnic, check out our unique charity shop and our souvenirs, if its rainy outside - come and sit near the fire and enjoy a hot drink.
