I have used Walcot for over 10 years for several projects involving refurbishment and repair of an Edwardian house in Nether Edge.
Richard is reliable, straightforward and a decent guy to deal with. His work is generally carried out to a high standard and he always turns up as promised.
I am planning on using Walcot again in the New Year.

Rich & his colleagues Matt and others have done a great job for us over the past 9 weeks and worked really hard - knocking out an internal wall to create a single larger room looking onto the garden, extending out onto our patio which they’ve raised to the same level, fitting a long run of bifold doors, putting in a series of RSJs as per our structural engineer, installing underfloor heating, some re-flooring and putting in ceiling lights. Their work’s been careful and accurate and we’re delighted with the outcome. They’ve been a pleasure to have around given how disruptive a job it’s inevitably been - friendly, helpful, thoughtful, making suggestions about various things we’d not thought of. Rich has kept us informed throughout when he’s hit problems, and has always come up with solutions. They’ve pretty much finished on schedule and have also brought the project in on budget apart from where we’d requested additional work - pretty impressive. We’re happy to recommend them highly.

Richard and his team put a dormer in our attic and did a great job on it. It was all done on time and with great care and the minimum of mess. I was delighted with the result. I particularly valued that Richard was always ready to talk through any decisions I needed to make and he offered useful advice based on many years of experience.

Walcot Joinery did an excellent job with our attic en-suite and bathroom renovation. They were reliable and straightforward to deal with and very good value for the work done. Highly recommended

Estimate of when they were likely to be able to start work was accurate, as was the cost estimate
Didn't mind us chopping and changing our minds on details

Considerate to the neighbours (who have now hired them for a job)
Did loads of little extras that arose as they went along
Didn't complain when it turned out I'd not ordered quite enough flooring, and came back after they'd finished on site to finish it off
Excellent standard of work

Coming back to do the bathroom next year.
