Business overview

Wagging Tails Dog Training helps owners in South Norwood & East Dulwich train their dogs of all ages and breeds to become a good canine citizen with reward based training methods.

At WTDT, we offer a comprehensive canine training and behaviour service.

We run CLASSES from Puppy Foundation right up to Advanced including the Bronze, Silver and Gold KCGC Awards.

Our classes are kept small with two instructors so every owner and their dog get the most benefit from our classes.

We currently run classes on Monday evenings and Saturdays in South Norwood and on Tuesday evenings in East Dulwich.

We also offer 1-2-1 SESSIONS by the hour at your home and/or on your regular walk where obedience issues like recall, loose lead walking etc can be addressed.

Our HOME VISITS cover simple behaviour issues like house training or separation anxiety or more complicated issues like hyperactivity, aggression and similar.

Our trainers and behavourists are well qualified and have years of experience training dogs, with the two senior trainers having a Degree in Canine Behaviour and Training as well as being members of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (www.apdt.co.uk).

Happy Dog training

After trying a number of different places I finally found wtdt for my gsd puppy. He is now a beautifully trained and happy & year old. Since then I have trained my other two dogs also with wtdt . The give informative and varied training through kind positive methods. All the trainers are very well qualified and are happy to give honest advice on any problems that you may come across. They offer various levels of training from first time dog owner through to workshops with highly skilled competitive obedience trainers. Unlike many places they also run a special class for reactive dogs, something that is hard to find. All classes are very well run and always aim to help dogs and owners without making anyone feeling silly
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for all things doggy :)

Excellent training classes and fun

I have an ex-racing greyhound who had no social skills, a bit of a bully, no basics. I started off on the Foundation Course with Wagging Tails and so quickly had positive changes. I have now completed the Improvers Course and I have a fully socialised, happy and obedient dog. The trainers are great, the classes are flexible for all kind of dogs and most of all its fun. The reward based training is exactly what I hoped for. Can't recommend Wagging Tails enough.

Effective training the fun way

I have two dogs training at the moment, one an adolescent and the other an elderly gentleman. Both absolutely love the sessions and learn during the well structured and busy classes. Both dogs and owners are kept busy during the classes and my dogs have become far more sociable with other dogs. They are also obedient more often than not now. All this is achieved by careful tutoring of the owners by the dog trainers.
Explanations of dog behaviour are also given which reinforces the understanding of the approach to training.
All this and two stimulated and tired dogs at the end of each class. It is wonderful.

fun training

after taking our Rottweiler to three other places for training we started going to Wagging tails. Our dog was becoming bored in the other classes but at Wagging tails training can be personalised to work at your level. Every trainer and dog is given challenges and tips for further advancement. She loves these classes and as we do something different each week never gets bored. We have now enrolled our second dog with wagging tails and can't wait for them to be in the same class !

Enjoyable training

When we bought our labradoodle Max 2 years ago we looked in the local area for a training school and were lucky enought to choose WTDT. It uses positive rewards for training and Max enjoys it enormously - he always wags his tail on arrival. The trainers are always willing to give different approaches to a task if the first method is not giving the best results. Unfortunately we are leaving London soon & we just hope that we can find a class half as good near our new home. Michael, Cathie & Max
